Upcoming Events:

·         Mary Kay Party by Kirsten Schaefer – Trish’s house- date to be rescheduled

·         VBS – July 7 – 11 – looking for volunteers, registration is closed

·         July Family Event at Dixie Donuts  - Sunday, July 20^th after 9AM mass

·         Parish Picnic – Saturday, October 4^th – asked us to do the bake-off

·         CHRP (Christ Renews His Parish)  - Weekend of October 18^th and 19^th – Belinda Alley has details

·         Nicole Unice She’s Got Issues DVD Experience -   Monday July 28^th 7:30 pm Topic:  Anger and Monday August 11^th 7:30 pm Topic:  Unforgiveness.

o   Both of these evenings will be at Trish’s Home

We will not have any meetings at the church during the months of July and August.

Happy Summer

Summer is officially here and we will not have a St. Anne's meeting in July or August.  Meetings will resume in September and we look forward to seeing old and new faces there!!

Update On Events

June 12th - Moms night out at the Wine loft

CARITAS Sunday June 22nd Taco Night

Sunday June 22nd St Anne will be hosting Taco Night. We need 4 volunteers to serve that night as well as many food items to feed about 40 individuals. Children must be at least 12 years old to serve. Please consider helping with this charitable event at our Parish! 

Vacation bible school is July 7th-11th and sure to be fun for the kids. 

We need help after Mass with VBS sign up.

CARITAS

St Mary’s is hosting CARITAS the week of June 21st-28th. The church is hosting families this year.

Kathy is the leader of meals for the week. We have chosen Sunday June 22nd as St Anne night and we will be hosting Taco Night.

Look for further details after Memorial Day Weekend. However we will need volunteers to serve that night as well as many food items to feed about 40 individuals our Taco Meal.

CARITAS is the largest provider of homeless services in the Metro Richmond Area. Through CARITAS people in crisis are provided with the basic life and job skills they need to exit shelter and return to their families, their jobs, their homes and their lives as productive citizens.

·         Mom’s Night Out – Thursday, June 12^th at 7PM – Wine Loft

·         Rummage Sale – June 14-15 – Human Concerns Committee looking for volunteers

·         CARITAS – June 21 – 28 – Families this year and we plan to take a night and provide dinner

Easter Egg Hunt

One of the perks of St.Anne's ministry is getting our children together.  Looks like this group of kids enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt.  Thank you to Kathy for organizing the event!

Meeting Monday April 28th

Just a reminder for our next meeting is Monday, April 28th at 7:00 pm. The parish nurses will be at the beginning of the meeting to distribute a survey and to inform our group of their services. We will close our meeting with Nicole Unice’s next topic of Comparisons and break into small groups for discussion. Come find out how quitting comparisons starts with a healthy humility and a grateful heart.

We have some fun events planned down the road, so please attend our meeting to hear all about them.  See you Monday.
