Meeting Monday April 28th

Just a reminder for our next meeting is Monday, April 28th at 7:00 pm. The parish nurses will be at the beginning of the meeting to distribute a survey and to inform our group of their services. We will close our meeting with Nicole Unice’s next topic of Comparisons and break into small groups for discussion. Come find out how quitting comparisons starts with a healthy humility and a grateful heart.

We have some fun events planned down the road, so please attend our meeting to hear all about them.  See you Monday.

We are hoping this will help everyone with planning for these fun nights. The upcoming events are listed below.
Family Picnic on Sunday, May 18th from 4-6
Moms’ Night Out at Wine Loft on Thursday, June 12th at 7pm
Family Social on Sunday, July 20th after 9 am mass at Dixie Donut

Family Picnic on Sunday, May 18 from 4-6
We’re so excited for our second annual family picnic! We’ll meet Sunday, May 18th from 4-6 at the Colonies Clubhouse. This is the same location as last year’s picnic, however this year it will be potluck. Please sign up to bring a dish to share and plan to bring the drinks for your family. Please also plan to bring a small donation to help our group cover the rental of the clubhouse. We look forward to seeing everyone and sharing a meal with the families.  Hope your family can make it!

Please RSVP on NList for the events.  Thank you to Betsy Ingoe for organizing lots of fun activities.  Hope to see you there!

We Are Beautiful

During our meeting in March we discussed Insecurity that women are faced with.  Check out this great video from Dove.  In it, an FBI sketch artist asked individual women participating in a study to either describe themselves or a stranger seated next to them earlier in the day.
The results showed very different images— the self-descriptions would reveal the women's insecurities. The clip juxtaposed the two descriptions to highlight the distorted-- inaccurate and less attractive -- verbal pictures women painted of themselves.

Remember you are BEAUTIFUL just the way God intended you to be!
