CARITAS

St Mary’s is hosting CARITAS the week of June 21st-28th. The church is hosting families this year.

Kathy is the leader of meals for the week. We have chosen Sunday June 22nd as St Anne night and we will be hosting Taco Night.

Look for further details after Memorial Day Weekend. However we will need volunteers to serve that night as well as many food items to feed about 40 individuals our Taco Meal.

CARITAS is the largest provider of homeless services in the Metro Richmond Area. Through CARITAS people in crisis are provided with the basic life and job skills they need to exit shelter and return to their families, their jobs, their homes and their lives as productive citizens.

·         Family Picnic – Sunday, May 18^th from 4 – 6 at Trish McNeel’s House at 2405 Asker Court (Note change in Location) – bring a potluck item to share and your own drinks 

·         Mom’s Night Out – Thursday, June 12^th at 7PM – Wine Loft

·         Rummage Sale – June 14-15 – Human Concerns Committee looking for volunteers

·         CARITAS – June 21 – 28 – Families this year and we plan to take a night and provide dinner

·         VBS – July 7 – 11

·         July Family Event at Dixie Donuts  - Sunday, July 20^th after 9AM mass

·         Parish Picnic – Saturday, October 4^th – asked us to do the bake-off

·         CHRP (Christ Renews His Parish)  - Weekend of October 18^th and 19^th – Belinda Alley has details

·         Family Bingo Night – Sometime in Fall?

Easter Egg Hunt
